in the states they use the word ''butthurt'' instead of offence

For me this is a hard one my personality may come across in my writing I’m no uni graduate and hated school so limited in that department. I just write things as I would say them and as they are in my head no matter how it comes out and that shows if I had to start editing and think to hard about it then I feel it wouldn’t come across right and would be like some kind of lie. I can sound abrasive sometimes but it’s not meant it’s just in my world a spade is a spade and I’m gonna tell it like it is. Think I’ll attach a warning on my posts for snowflakes ...content may offend...

Your like me i detested school and got a very poor ejitmacation.

I found not all but most teachers educated nitwits, lost outside the class room and never grew up,my mate used to say, went to school finished and went back to school.
One or two i remember were fantastic, one was a ex solder and tought me car mec and metal work, road m bikes and was down to earth, great man.

Methinks you lot are thinking what Snowflake ment when you lot were young whipersnapers , but like the word gay, means something completely different now... 😉🙈🙉🙊

spent more time on the streets than in the classroom . one thing i learned was that if you wanted to learn about something , you'd find books on any subject ,of course a lot easier with computers . my youngest had a fitful education as and when we were in the UK and finally left school at 13 .when she was 17/18 she got herself into uni and got a first with honours . we all agreed that working at the speed of the slowest kid in class could ruin a bright kid. another daughter gave up at 11 and my son left at 9 .both doing very well ta . they said they hated it ,and i said ,knock it on the head then. would have felt wrong to make them go after hating it so much myself

I managed to leave high school early to attend college doing an engineering course. My technology teacher saw how keen i was to persue fabrication and managed to help secure a place at college and also helped persuade the headmaster to release me from high school to attend as i had no interest in any other subjects, i only wish i had paid more attention in mathematics as later on found out the benefits in my chosen career which i still enjoy to this day.

Had a job at .13 delivering milk started at 5am finished at 7am then down the farm cut rhubarb with a massive blade till 8.45 then into school for nine by that time I had earnd 10 quid so school was something that got in the way of work had a summer job at 14 labouring to one of the best plasterers that ever lived he paid me
by amount of work we got done so at a young age got the grasp of hard graft and a quid. They let me leave a year early if I could find a job I actually paid someone to say I was working for them. Can’t do that now you get fined if there off school for a couple of days.
