Hi just a little warning
I couldn't believe how fragile the glass is on smeg cooker and sink units
I dropped a 6 inch diameter shaving mirror from less than 2ft on the top of mine and it shattered not even safety glass like car window screens but shards very dangerous and to replace nearly as much as my single burner unit £86
I like things nice and complete else I'd cut a wooden one at least it's safe and won't break

If I ever break the glass on my cooker, it will definitely have a wooden replacement.

I dropped a glass lid of a frying pan, shards of glass everywhere.

Bought an indian cooking pot in morrisons, the metal lid off that fits the old frying pan, no more exploding glass !

I find the SMEV hobs work better then the SMEG ones in a motorhome


But yes, the rubber grommets fly off if you glance sideways at them. I found the pan support had an annoying rattle on my last one caused by the legs vibrating on the metal base - slid little sections of heat wrap tubing on each leg and that fixed that problem but still had to have a cloth on top of the support to stop it vibrating against the lid.

a local glaziers could make you one in smoked toughened glass a lot cheaper, all they need is a pattern in paper or cardboard
