Side window on the passenger door of my Hymer A class was accidently broken last week while on a storage site. Long story short I am having to finance some or all of the cost myself. Autoglass quote £1500 supply and fit with up to 9 weeks lead time. I am still awaiting a price from a Hymer dealer in the UK, but expecting similarly bad news. I contacted a Hymer parts supplier in Germany(not a dealer but cheap) but they do not supply m/home glass. I am now considering a trip to the continent to either pick up a replacement from a Hymer dealer or arrange supply and fit from an autoglass fitters. France would be my immediate choice as I live near Newhaven and there are a couple of Hymer dealers close to Dieppe. Does anybody have any suggestions or thoughts on the matter?

Photo of the window may help people here. If you have all the trims possibly "site glass" they do all types of machinery glazing on site.
If it's a flat piece of glass this is what I'd do, last time we used them they would also engrave with correct markings so that it's road legal.

Siteglass looks promising. I'll give them a call. Thanks for your suggestion.
