Not many sites in UK allow black waste into their grey drain as there are not that many which discharge into a mains sewer. Having a tank system in our RV we have earmarked only a minority of places to discharge, and Caravan Club sites are rarely among them. So good luck with that one folks!

For our new build "Betty" I'm going to buy a spare cassette for the toilet. That will increase our range for emergencies.

What do you have to do if the macerator fails, I wonder? My old man told me that in the merchant navy if a navigating officer managed to hit the jetty and knock closed the ships toilet outlet he would have to hammer it back out with the inevitable consequences. A similar situation may arise.
