Sliding door guard

Does anybody know of a Dog type guard to go in the sliding door gap to stop the wife , sorry dogs escaping whilst open.?

You appear to have a ducato type van as an avatar so you can buy a custom fitted screen to fit the gap exactly, not sure of manufacturer but it is only a 'fly screen' which might not deter a determined escapee, wife or dog.
