Sleeping bag

two sleeping bags to make a double, unzip in summer

Sleeping bags in single duvet covers underneath, single duvets on top, 4.5 tog, and a fleece blanket over that if it gets cold. I suppose if it was REALLY cold, Himself might agree to making up the double bed and cuddling up together, but it would have to be about -30c for that!! (Maybe a trip to the North Pole??)

My van has a roof tent (Autohomes Columbus) which is basically a fibreglass roof box with tent sides. Inside is a double mattress, I use 2 Duvets and find it far more comfortable and less claustrophobic than a bag, although I always carry my RAB Ascent 700 Sleeping bag which will keep you warm in any conditions.

Always a duvet under it in winter:sleep-027: and on top in the summer :sleep-027:

Duvet is always top of the list, keep warm and you'll always be a :) camper!

wild not rough campers

Duvet of course, heating on low, toes out the end...lush

I'm a duvet snob you see, sleeping bags are for those tent people!!!

Hia

Dovet

but when out in January Izzy (the dog) found it to cold ontop of the dovet so sneaked in the bottom end to warm up

Hi

Duvet - under and over in winter and just over in summer.

And don't forget the hot water bottles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep a couple in the fridge (I have the mini bottles from the pound shop) and pop them under the sheets for the more sultry nights, and those 'power surges' we ladies suffer from - bliss. Definitely prefer duvets.

Definitely Duvets, one to lie on and one covering us, heaven, Duck Down of course.:lol-053:

Having just had a less than comfortable night I think we might try this next time, have just had one on top (plus dogs) until now.

Duvet, sleeping bag, blanket, wolley hat, gloves, HW bottle, dogs when in Scotland at -18 but anywhere else, just a duvet, everytime

A little cold never hurt anyone, come on be honest (Canalsman not about) you are really a cuddly softy. :lol-053::lol-053::wave:
