skip ratting!!

No trespass laws in Scotland. One or two of us do still use common courtesy though, if a skip was as well out the way as described I'd have not touched it without asking first.

We had a skip outside which Lee was filling from the job he was on as well as our rubbish. Someone asked for the bike & took it, then while we were at work unbeknown to us they came back to rummage a bit more. Don't have a problem with that except neighbour saw them going up the drive looking shifty so called the police... Lee dashed home to find skip rats (eastern europeans) being arrested for no car tax, ins, etc. oh dear, expensive skip that day.

Having a wood stove we've rummaged many a skip, but I would never
dream of taking anything out of it until I had checked with the owners
first, I too think its theft and some people don't like you taking stuff
even though they've thrown it away- their perogative. You want to
see the Eastern Europians going through the skips at the end of a Car
Boot sale, great entertainment!

I Asked Them to stop and leave i DID NOT shout or go in All Guns Blazing and THEY started arguing.

I would have done and kicked there arse all the way down the drive.
Like other people have said if they had knocked on the door and asked thats fine, otherwise dont come on my property:scared::scared:
