Sites are so expensive

The sites vary hugely!

just a few pound on a CL to £20 - £30 on a busy comercial site and then a lot more for a butlins/haven etc...

What i do object to is paying twenty odd pound for sites with electic/toilet/shower and not much more...

I dont mind paying if I have to a little more but with a bar and entertainment etc..

I think you echo most people sentiments.

Why pay for electricity/ shower blocks and laundry rooms if you dont require them ? And tbh I have no desire to visit club rooms and bars ala Haven, But thats just me.

I must admit I sometimes stop at the CC site in Clumber park (mid week discount) If I need to launder and sometimes it is nice to use the shower block etc, top up with a bit of electric and the hound likes the walking there.

The cost is £7.20 per night plus the cost of laundry
