Unfortunately after many years of good service and hard work my shed with a bed 1998 Swift Kontiki 640 will have to go, I have got passed crawling underneath and it is hard finding people with a suitable ramp. In need of TLC like me.
I have bought a bigger motor so I can put stock in and thinking of becoming a tugger which I hate the thought of as the van was so easy just park up and done for the night.
Also caravans will not take any weight it seems, so will be a big lifestyle change.
Anyway I am hoping to still be able to come on here even if hated lol.
Should I put it on buy and sell in here or do folk think ebay is the way to go?.

FB Marketplace is very good, I think Barry sold his Kontiki on there. I've sold loads of stuff on there myself within hours sometimes.

Sad for you. We had a 1996 Kontiki 640 for 16 years but it was also a creaking gate in the end but it got well used and served us well all over Europe for many many years.

As Rob says I sold mine in 2024 on Facebook market place and it went within 24 hours. If you have not used it before, a few tips. I was totally up front with all the faults. I listed the good points first, then the bad and was totally open about what it needed. Lots of photographs including recent ones of it in some stunning locations (selling the dream). There are a lot of idiots and a fair few scammers on FB market place so don't put your phone number in the advert and do all communications through the Facebook messenger system. Any abrupt messages that simply said "Phone number" I just ignored. I also checked out potential buyers profiles which is a major advantage of market place. If they are genuine they will have a normal facebook profile footprint of posts, photos etc. If their profile is empty, ignore them.

Local elderly couple bought mine. He was a bit of an old caravan and motorhome doer upper so it suited him fine.
