Seitz windows - which way up?

I'm fitting a couple of Seitz Dometic sliding windows to my self build and have the choice to fit the inner frames with the blind at the bottom and fly screen at the top, or vice versa.

I've seen both ways described as 'the wrong way up' on various self build descriptions but I'm thinking that it doesn't make any difference.

Which way round are your Seitz windows fitted? Blind at the bottom pulled up or blind at the top pulled down?

Most of the vans we were parked close to on our latest trip seemed to have the blind coming up from the bottom, presumably so that you can wander around in a state of undress & the nosey beggars looking at your blinds can't see your naughty bits.

Like Sharon says, blind up from the bottom, so you can leave it on the last peg if you need to sleep with the window on vent, and stop the nosey 's:wacko:

I've tried em both ways up, makes no odds as to function, just a case of preference.

We ended up going with silver screen at the bottom and fly screen at the top, can't really remember why but it made sense at the time. Think it may well have been, as above, so that we could let some light in higher up if needed without having to get clothed.

Solid blind up from the bottom, fly screen down from the top.... to allow privacy, the solid blind can be 'cracked' at the top to allow just enough light in to be able to see out, without showing everybody what you are (not) wearing. :)
Every caravan and motorhome we have owned has had 'the treatment', that is, if the blinds are not set this way, they get set that way.
I have found that usually the only blind that is difficult/not possible to change is usually the kitchen blind.
most motorhomes now have them with the solid blind closing from the bottom.

up from the bottom for privacy ,or down from the top for shade ? i chose the former, but it's not a big job to change if you don't like it
