Sealant for motorhome sink

You cant beat dow corning silicone mastic. Ive seen plumbers stick sinks on the wall with it and sinks that had to come off theyve taken the plaster off before it was released.

So against all the expert advice I bought some of that self adhesive stuff (3 metres of it) and tried it just now. It seems ok. It kind of shapes all squishy into the area it needs to go. I think it will work just fine as long as it doesn't come off which of course its bound to.

Realistically its only to deflect a few spills and splashes from the sink. Michelle thinks it looks crap.

She won't even see it by the time she has put out all the crap she puts out on the shelf. Its a keeper I say.

The caulk tape works fine Barry, we used it with the shower boards in the house and no problems
