Schengen plans unravelling - Bears/waste disposal/campsites

OP,

It's only you that have to get out of the EU, not your vehicle. Trip of a lifetime, get the MH in storage (farm/vineyard probably cheapest) and buy 2 rucksacks is an option (you dont want to drive in Turkey). Might mean quarantine but as you state when this is over its work and kids. I appreciate you said about losing an income if leaving the EU but does the matter if your outgoings are peanuts in a developing countries (obviously I dont know)

I love Indonesia, 4 trips there so far 😉

Well you learn something new every day :) That must be a recent thing because I was told by my insurance company that they didn't do that - but it was a few years back. And if you do that it might be wise to have a supply of green paper because some countries insist on it being green (or at least they used to!)
Green paper! As you say 'learn something every day'

Thank you

On line green card is available. They email a printable pdf

Example;

It's been a while since I checked, but didn't think a Green Card would cover you in Georgia (Turkey and Ukraine, yes) Just assumed you'd buy cover at the border. Things may well have changed.

Green Card is mainly European, but I know Morocco and Tunisia accept it, although many still buy insurance at the border. 3rd party. ( Or used to)

Correct, Green card not applicable but insurance is do able.

OP,

I suspect you will not choose Georgia but on the off chance you do PM me and I will happily research it for you as it will apply to me in the not so distant future. I would need to know where you plan to enter to get up to date info on covid related access and obtaining insurance

OP,

Bulgaria & Romania sre still strict on covid related access. If you are running short on your 90 days you need to do your research on which country to enter from asap.

Thanks all. We've decided to stop being pansies and go to Romania and Bulgaria, getting a campsite once a week. Can't be as bad as Jan to March in lockdown in the UK!

Georgia is deffo on the list later down the line.
Really looking forward to Christmas in Benidorm as we will be able to get into the sheguen again in November.
