Satnav not working

we never had a sat nav , we headed south to get down there , and north to get back, worked every time !

I do pretty much the same Nigel.

They are often pretty good for the last couple of miles of a journey though.

Hi all, thanks for the tips so far. I did try it in my 12v socket and nothing ... so presume that eliminates her socket as the problem. Strange that both leads have gone ... ?

Not necessarily. Has she got anything else she can try in the socket to prove it's working... phone charger for instance?

Just to pont out that not all USB leads work with Garmin SatNavs, Garmin have some sort of resistor built in to enable you to charge and navigate, a normal USB lead will usually put it into PC mode which will charge it but you can't navigate at the same time.
