Hi all, what is the law in the UK, regarding carrying additional safe fill gas bottles outside of the designated area in your van. please?

Hi David, my post was to ascertain, and for example, strapped to a rear bike rack, or within the confines of their vehicle. I'd say the latter would be fine, with the former debatable?

I carry one in the garage for use with my gas barbecue never thought about it because it’s secured turned off and not in use when in transit.

Carrying the bottle it doesn't matter where it is, you can take it by pushbike if you wish

some guidance here, as far as I am aware for the small quantities in a bottle or two there isn't any law
