You probably know this, but don't forget to insulate the cab roof as well. Mine wasn't, and the temperature difference between the habitation part and cab caused huge amounts of condensation under the headlining. I used that 6mm bubble wrap stuff. Free in most skips. :giggle:
 
Thanks , the cab was done first while waiting for windows to be delivered, I used a roll of B&Q dail 6M plastic stuff behind the roof liner after I did the rattles sound deading, both doors got the same treatment. The best thing is I broke only 1 of the plastic clips and that was in the roof.
 
i wouldnt worry too much about surface rust on roof, bottom will fall apart before roof becomes a serious problem.
Blimey! Surely it would be wise to leave the van for a moment and go moon in front of your GP [by appointment in the consulting room of course, not from his or her front garden]...
