Rubbish Autotrail Roof Lights

Enough is enough, having replaced the cranking mechanism on all our roof lights, the bedroom one done three times, it refuses to engage the locking hooks yet again and the handle just spins around.
Have decided to replace the lot with the bar opening handle type roof lights, the ones we had on our caravan many years ago.
Can anybody recommend the best type on the market and where to source them at the best price?

Have a look at the thread "wanted, seitz window" further down the main page. vwalan suggests a cheaper alternative source.

None of them are cheap, otherwise I would change the 2 small ones above my overcab and fixed bed on my Burstner.

mini hekis are good about 100 quid from all suppliers,fiammas are cheaper but don't open fully

Dave I believe you are a bit of a joiner,so why not make some out of batten and clear polythene :lol-049::scared:
