Route back from Granada to Calais - least amount of hills!

A long time ago, initially Spedeworth Superstocks and then Brisca F2. In addition to building engines built complete single seater F2. As in all motor sport never really in contention due to the money gap but did enjoy it.
 
Thanks for advice and suggestions. We are thinking of leaving next Thursday and heading to Euro tunnel. There are no obvious signs of a HG issue, no pressurising pipes, no oil or coolent loss or mixing. I have fitted a new temperature gauge and sender and will see how we get on. Only symptoms being the overheating on hills (with thermostat removed) and the dodgy diagnosis from a mechanic here.

I've flushed the system again and again and now starting to get some rusty water through. The more I look into it and hear from your experiences and those on the transit forum I am more dubious of the mechanics diagnosis!

I am not feeling too worried about the trip back and will take it easy with lots of stops and checks of the system and gauges.
