Yes, a bit.

The boat trip to Cadaqués is worth doing. Port de la Selva is lovely too.

The big supermarket near the campsites is good for buying spirits if you want them.

The ruined Ciutadella is a good visit.

I also have a good friend who knows the area really well so if there's anything specific you want to know, shout out.

Emporiabrava which is next door to Roses is a must see especially a boat hire to visit the Spanish version of Venice,
It also has what must be one of the largest markets in Spain

We enjoy L'estartit ,just a little way down the coast. Great beach with seperate area for dogs, lots of camping options close to a nice town.

Cadaques is deffo worth visiting. Salvador Dali lived there and there is a statue of him in the main square if memory serves..

Also, have a look at Peralada , interesting small inland town , nice bars and a bit of history.used to be able to stay overnight in carpark for free ,no services though.

We went to the Roses area for quite a few years. Last time we were there, there were loads of signs up saying no motor home parking. There was only carpark we could park in at that time.
Port de Selva not far away there was a large carpark behind the main road as you go in and is only 3 mins from the beach. We were allowed to stay over night as there wasn't a market the next day. There was a small restaurant at the front which was very nice and had a takeaway. It was a few years ago though.
About half an hour away on the coast road there is a place called Llanca. Stopped on a very rustic campsite called Camping L'Ombra many times. It did have showers and washing machines and the owner Peter was very nice. In Llanca there is the old and new town about 10 mins walk from the campsite. There was a large supermarket as you go in to Llanca. Think the market was on a Thursday which is very good. Very interesting place to visit with lots of different kinds of bays/beaches.
We found it easy to park no problems. beaches.
As the other person mentioned, Perelada is very nice. No problem parking and there is a little museum there where we also bought some very good wine.
If you on the motorway towards Llanca there is a garage, we filled with diesel there and he let us fill with water too.
Cadaques , we drove down to it and there is a large carpark just as you enter the town.
Be aware that at the weekends people migrate from Barcelona to the area and it is full.
Hope this helps. PJ

Inand , possibly on the way you can park at … la Bisba del Emporia (?) , in the main car park near Bridge
Lovely small town , many ceramics shops ( and excellent ceramic museum)
Also v good traditional wine shop on the high St .. port etc direct from barrels

Town has interesting medieval square and streets to mooch around in

There’s also a park by night / search for sites new parking area a few kms out with lovely small medieval village

Went there about 9 years ago so no up to date info, but we did find a road which wss packed with vans v close to or in the town. We tried to park on the prom, a sloping uphill area i think, and there was a sign saying campervans not allowed, but it was only at one end of a very long roadside parking area. Nearly caught out by that. Also parked 90° to the sea by a kindergarten in the central area.
Enjoy
