rooflight advice needed please

I've just been out to my van & some kind & thoughtfull person has decided that my skylight would be a perfect place for a huge rock, anyhooo, I'm just looking for a replacement & I need to know what measurement I need, is it the size of the dome or the size of the opening? Is there anything else I need to keep in mind?

these things are pretty standard,the usual sizes are 28cmx28cm or 40x40.this measurement is the size of the hole that is cut in the roof.if you're unsure,remove the inner frame and measure

If it's a fiamma vent you should be able to buy just the top so no need to remove your whole roof vent and replace.
