Roof light re string help

:sad: please can anyone help. We have just been out to the MH to sort out stuff for next weekend. Pulled back the pleated blind and fly screen and the string has pinged out o the sides. Hubby is trying to re thread it but is struggling. Is there an easy way?

Hi Maingate, it's a Remis, he has got it to stay at the moment, but the blinds are stiff to pull. He thinks that it may be the roller mechanism?

No need to google tensioning is easy, two screws at the top of the blind left side turn clockwise to tension and thats it ;....however string ?,,???, sounds like some venetian contraption in which case no idea

Thanks Casper and Channa, we have done a search, but Terry seems to think it is the mechanism itself.

Peter thank you, poor Ian and Glen, they will be changing the number with me calling again!! But I will phone them and get their advice and help. We are thoroughly enjoying the MH, as Terry is on his two weekends of standby, I am getting withdrawal symptoms and can't wait until next weekend to get up and go again!
