The site on the Roodee Car Park at Chester, where there are often Motorhomes Parked up overnight, had a notice on the Car Parking saying overnight parking there until May is going to be free. maybe worth noting.

Any idea why they've made it free?

Its only for overnight parking and I think it is probably because they are doing some alterations to the car park. but did read the notice on Sunday.

Lets not forget that Car Parking saying overnight parking don,t mean camping.;)

Just had a thought, you could park up for free on the Roodee car park overnight, then go to the Park and ride on Sealand Road which is only about 2 miles away and have special bay for motorhomes, just ask the guy and he will lift the barrier, then go into Chester for £1.50 on the bus park for free all day. then back to the Roodee, just a thought.
