Had one for years ....Absoloutley wouldn't be without it ..
Doga are cool with it too ...

Takes some getting used to though as,it sounds like they, are licking an empty bowl when using it lol

I've got one, it works well but the only complaint is that I would much prefer it to be made of stainless steel rather than plastic.

After searching for ages I have a bowl arriving today which I think will tick the boxes (I've ordered stainless steel ones before, only to find the saucer section is still plastic, which totally defeats the purpose).

If it is, I'll post a link.

So, I got this one.

It is stainless steel, including the saucer section. The saucer isn't kept in the bowl by a detachable rim like the Road Refresher, but rather by just three little lugs. That is the trade off, it makes it a bit less spillproof, but as long as it isn't filled too full I think it will still do the job. Our first trip with it should be next week, so if it's rubbish I'll tell you.

Ok . Let us know . Looks like an upgrade though original is pretty good

We had one for many years when we had Chloe, she was a very messy drinker and also had a health problem which meant she drank a lot, and this was the best answer. Travelling in the van, it was always near her with no risk of it being spilled

We always used one of these but never put the floating bit in and it never spilled or splashed even when driving they come in various sizes.

Yup, had one for many, many years. Ours is probably a bit cheaper and looks a bit lower and/or wider, but it works well.
Many thousands of miles travelled and not a drop spilled.
Sadly, the dog died a few years ago but the bowl still travels with us for visiting dogs.

Dogs Trust do yellow plastic water bowls with a no-spill collar/lid. The collar snaps on and slopes downwards into the centre of the bowl. Only £5 to a very good cause. We have used them for years.
Unfortunately, they are not spill proof when you tread in them.
