rip off britain

In my case, you are correct David.
I couldn't give a toss about people who chose to leave the UK and live abroad. They made their choice and I couldn't care less if they face complications if the democratic choice of people who have decided to live in the UK vote to leave the EU.
If my opinion upsets you then I don't really care either.
I was all for leaving the EU, but, after consideration, I don't care whether we leave, stay in, or not.
I have enough finances to live quite happily to the end of my days and will admit I am very selfish now.

Bugger Not sure i like whats happening to my thread, Andy

its been some time since ive seen such a rude , nasty mean spirited post on here ....

Hmmmm, who are the members of the european parlament? Nobody from the UK? You voted for them as well, remember?

I am not talking about elected MEP's, I mean the EU Commissioners elected by nobody. Look at some of the nitwits who have made a very comfortable living. The Kinnocks for a start ..... a right pair of greedy, grasping, self serving individuals. There are many of them with their noses in the trough.

Does anyone on here know anyone who voted to join the EU? And don't forget that Ireland got two goes at it because they got it wrong the first time. You couldn't make that up.

Have just paid 93 cents a litre for diesel on the A7 just outside of Fuengirola, and filled with water, emptied the gray water and also the casette for the toilet all at no extra charge, this was great but the weather is bl--dy awful, who pinched the sun??
Ken

Being a true Frenchman (not plastic like a certain individual on here) I have always loved going to Bretagne to fish. Rod, line, bait, a catch everytime.

Don't forget we will all get the chance soon to vote if we remain in the EU. The EU is the cause of many of our high taxes. Try to remember that when you do vote.

Since taxes on fuel and most other things are lower in the rest of the EU, how on earth do you come to that conclusion?

Lovely sunshine hereabouts Ken.

The hard frost is burned off by early afternoon. :p

Just over 88 cents/litre at Eroski Aguilas a couple or so days ago.
Rip-off Fuengirola!

Enjoy your little life on your taxpayer funded retirement. I imagine that finding your antecedents may be causing you some difficulty.[/QUOTE]

I will enjoy my life in retirement but would like to point out that I left school at 15 years of age and have been employed all of my life unless you believe that 22 years spent in HM Forces does not count.
I was lucky? enough to be able to retire after only paying 42 years of taxes and NI contributions.
I believe I have more right to comment on how things are in the UK than someone who has chosen to live abroad.
No doubt you will come back here when you find that it will be more in your favour to rely on the NHS.
Mind you the way things are going, that organisation may be a piece of history too.

I am really sorry Andy that I seem to have hijacked your thread.
I just could not help replying to David who sits abroad and pontificates on what should happen in the UK from his bolthole in La Belle France.

Why would you really want to leave France and come back to such an awful UK
Seriously I have a cousin who lives in France and the last time I spoke to him he said that the taxes in France were crippling him.

Are you sure he didn't say 'Taxis'!

Feel free to denigrate my ability to use the quote system on the website. Anyway that you can prove yourself better than others only feeds your ego.

As for the public sector paying my pension I believe I earned that.
That was 22 years the other 20 were in the private sector.
Why not stay where you are?
The only people I consider pariahs are people like yourself who leave the country of their origin to better themselves and then come back to live out their days when help is needed.

And there is the trout on the end of the line again, loving it.
