RIP Nigel - N Brown

A sad day for Nigel's family and his forum family too.
A well travelled man with a great sense of humor will be missed by us all.
He was an old stalwart of wildcamping and I will miss the way he never said goodbye, he just left, asked why and his reply was, it takes too much time.
Fairweather old friend.

I am sorry to hear of Nigel’s passing.
I never met, or even Pmd Nigel, but he always came across as a realy nice guy.
Nigel was a massive part of WC and will be missed greatly.
My thoughts are with Nigel’s wife Eileen and all his family and friends.

RIP Nigel.

RIP Nigel.

Very sad news indeed! Mr Broon was Diamond Geezer, had more practical skills that you can shake a stick at. Mr Broon certainly showed his sense of humour after losing a digit on a circular saw. Boy did he get it tight, and would add his own humerous content to the banter about his near miss.

RIP Mr Broon, no doubt looking for faults as you make your way up those stairs to Heaven.
Runnach he will checking out the woodwork on those stairs and checking for matching pearls on the gates and he will no trouble getting in for all the good he done in his world

So saddened to hear the news. I first met Nigel and Eileen at a meet at a pub in Wales that Morgan the Moon organised - he held court that night, telling us tales of his earlier van life. I stayed at his place many times on my way down to Portsmouth - always a great welcome and a special meal on the table. When I broke down in Spain, on my way to Portugal, he and his son-in-law came to pick me up to take me to a hotel near where his family lived in Portugal so I could spend Christmas with them - I’ll never thank them enough for that. He did loads of work on my van that I still appreciate to this day. He was funny, clever and a one-off. He’ll be missed so much by so many. Condolences to Eileen and the family. RIP Mr Brown ❤️

I was really saddened to hear the passing of Nigel, he helped me so much building my first van! His hospitality when visiting was second to none and as for his workshop…well it was a van builders paradise!
My thoughts are with Eileen and the rest of the family..
RIP Mr Brown you will be missed by many
