I thought it would be useful to post information about restricted access POI locations because there is confusion about this on occasion.
Locations known to have access restrictions are highlighted by having their names enclosed in square brackets e.g. [ CR North Wallop (Wallopshire) ]
It is highly advisable with such locations to check them out before travelling.
One common misconception is that these restrictions relate to vehicle size alone.
It is just as likely that it is only feasible to approach a location from a specified direction. This will be noted in the description.
To access the description you can use the Wild Camping app or the online POI Map.
As an aside the description is also used for other POIs, such as pub stops where it contains the phone number, and is always worth a look ...
