Replacing Tap - unfamiliar connectors

If you can disconnect the hot line further back, do it and connect a water line or compressed air line (like a tyre inflator). The higher pressure should seal the leak and then you can connect the hot water line back again.

A motorhome hot water line is usually a slightly lower pressure and you need a bit of pressure to make a seal.

I’ve taken it apart now - I honestly think the connecter’s buggered, Jim.
Went over to a couple of Motorhome places in Birtley, but they‘re pretty hopeless (except for taps 3x what I paid on eBay), so I’ve ordered flexi pipes on eBay - hopefully for Monday.

I fitted both the new hoses. However, the red one behaved a bit weird in that it’s black collar just slid down when I put the water pump on & the fitting dribbled water.
In the end I just replaced that one with the original working copper pipe one:

Told the eBay seller about it & he’s sending me another hose fitting - might use it, might not.
