Replacing Tap - unfamiliar connectors

Hi, folks. Need to replace our tap but can’t see how to separate the black connectors below - haven’t seen them like this before.

The 3 main sections all rotate freely together - tried every twist, push, pull I can think of.
Any advice appreciated, even tho it’ll make me look a dummy. 🤔

On a connector like this I would expect to push where I've put arrow, then pull out pipe.

The smaller black ends are collars.

Push the pipe in slightly then also push in the small black collar and the pipe pulls out.

After much more struggle managed to get the little feckers off - not much movement in the end parts.
Wish me luck getting them back on again.

Any problems Neil, let me know. I have some new ones here somewhere, not sure what size but failing that they are available at Screwfix, Toolstation etc.

I also have a set of internal screens going spare. They fit a Ducato and a Renault so they might fit your van as well.

Thanks for the input. Situation now is the two threaded rods used to clamp the tap in place (all taps available now seem to have two instead of one) are too short (cos tap fitting goes through two pieces of wood).
Fortunately, looks as tho the rods are standard size (for 10mm nuts), so should be pretty easy to get longer versions locally.

Awkward to fit cos it’s behind the sink, which I would have been tempted to remove for this little job but, surprise, surprise, one if the sink screw heads is too rusted to turn. Should hopefully get by without.

I have just checked and I have 6 mm studding and 6 mm bolts, some stainless steel depending on what length you need plus nuts and washers etc. Next time you are at Costco call in for whatever you need.

Popped up the road & got a long (m6) screw for the princely sum of 50p.
Will chop up & fit later when cooler.

It was awkward getting the 2 copper pipes screwed into the new tap cos I couldn’t get the connecters off the other ends, so they were rubbing against each other. Anyway, nearly there. Nothing can possibly go wrong now… 🫤

Put everything together & tried it out - water dribbling out the top & bottom of the push-connector for the hot water. (Cold water one ok)
Oh well…
