Got my MH back from a local garage that had done some work for me,as they reversed off the hoist one of the back wheels went into the rollers in the floor causing it to rock to one side and broke the main side window against one of the support posts.
At this point I've not paid the bill while they source a replacement,I'm thinking rocking horse s**t would be easier to find.
Anyone have an idea if there are likely to be any on the market for an 85 Autotrail?
Not sure what I can do as I'm just preparing it to sell, might be very difficult with a broken window.

Bugger! If the frame's OK I should think most plant glazing firms could hook you up with glass cut to size and fitted into your original frame. They will supply new rubber or bond it in. Most are mobile and will come to the job site too. Hope this info helps matey. Just Google mobile plant glazing if you get stuck. Good luck.

These units tend to be standard on trailer caravans and can often be sourced second-hand from caravan breakers. Hopefully, coachbuilders use the same units as caravan builders. You'll need to identify the make, tint colour and size (dimensions) -- perhaps Auto-trail can provide the required info. If not, breakers may be able to match by description.

There is a firm "Exhaust Ejectors Halifax?mentioned on another thread a few days ago, they can custom make double skin acrylic one offs. May be worth
a search if nothing else turns up.

Replacement Caravan and Motorhome Windows - EECO

I have seen their work on a friends shattered caravan window where they basically just had the outline and part of the curve on the outer skin. The replacement fitted great even matching the original tint.

Got my brand new replacement window back from Leisure Spares (thanks to Alf for the link) they've done a superb job,but it did take a bit longer than expected.
Sadly it now makes the rest of my windows look a bit tatty:rolleyes2:

You need to get your plastic window polish out now.
