Replacement table in Burstner

So, we have now had a 2013 Burstner Ixeo t590 and decided to take out the huge fixed table as it was just getting in the way. We now have a lovely lounge area, but are looking for a replacement non fixed table. Had a look at rainbow conversions who seem to make various sizes of table tops, and maybe using a couple of folding table legs. Plan would be to fold it down and put on top of the drop down bed when not using it. Anyone else done this/can recommend good table top leg mechanism? Either that or we will get a couple of bean bag lap trays.....

I managed to source a table top from Brownhills workshop for a tenner which was just the right dimensions and matching colour.It's made a big difference and is an improvement,there is now a lot more room in the lounge area and we can position the table anywhere,another bonus is that it can be taken outside in good weather.The plastic legs fold up neatly and it all travels on the overcab bed.

The continental manufacturers do seem to go over the top with big tables in the lounge area and I know of quite a few people who have done a similar modification.

Thanks for the replies. We were looking at the Fiamma tripod base. Is it pretty stable? Thinking of maybe an 800x500 table top to put on it.
