Remis Folding Shower Screen Help

Anyone got any ideas?

The lower hinge on the shower screen of our camper has broken. Its the one between the 2 leaves of the screen and is the side that has a plastic ring that fits over the adjacent pin. The Burstner dealer has made enquiries of Remis and they will not supply the replacement broken parts, only a complete new shower screen, 1 dealer said this would be in the region of £250 another said much more.

Any ideas to repair or replace would be gratefully received.

Have you tried Southdowns ?

I found them v good when I had a Burstner, and not as expensive as I expected.

Or buy a secondhand screen, there are quite a few on ebay aound £50

Incidentally when I collected my Burstner, back in 2012, the dealer made a point of saying "Always check the shower screen before travelling, a new one is just under a grand"!
