Rear window blinds for Peugeot Boxer

Our Boxer is a Houldsworth conversion, with the original rear doors retained. I'm after blinds for the rear windows, as this is the only part of the van where light leaks out at night, advertising our presence.
Something like the thermal blinds for the cab, probably with suckers, would probably do the trick.

Cheers Bill.

Checked them out.

They don't advertise a rear screen, but they are only 20 minutes away from where we live, so it might be worth me getting in touch with them.

The cab screens seem to be about the best I've seen. Could be tempted!

Silver screens are definitely worth contacting, I cant see it on their website now but Im sure it was them that I bought just the fabric and suckers from to make my own for the transit minibus we used to have. It was stiffer than the external screens and quilted in a diamond pattern I just tidied the edges up and put a buttonhole for a sucker in each corner(after checking where they needed to stick).

Thanks Jane - I'll get in touch with them. Sounds like your solution is just what we want.

I just did some googling and remembered some detail, try ebay they have some and a company called Rainbow conversions I cant remember if I bought it off them but I know Ive bought something off them:rolleyes2:

Hi Shoz,

I have got one as well. I found that just covering the rear glass did no good. If yours is laid out like mine you need a heavy piece of cardboard that blocks off the gap between the sink unit and the loo cupboard. It needs to come up an inch or two above the base of the curtains. During the day you can slide it to one side. Make a hinge with gaffer tape and fold it in half if you like. Its easy to cover if you are into aesthetics's. At night put it across the gap and pop the base of curtain behind it thus trapping the cold air. No draft at no cost!

Hope that helps

Richard
