Maybe an opportune time to reupholster with a wee bit of help from insurance after migrant incursion.

3 ISRI captains chairs and 6 foot bench sofa

Any ideas?

fabric and faux leather.....much difference?

Who knows, I may even replace the carpet!

Give Regal Furnishings a ring, they will do it in one day and allow you to stay overnight on their premises with electric hook up, we were quoted approx £1500 but that was quite a few years ago so it will be higher now, they can give you a quote over the phone

I had mine done at a local upholsterer and the cost was about £150 per seat,I supplied the material. The bench seat was easier and the pleating was just a stitch through.
The firm is M.P Swift
Address:
81 King Street
Postcode/City:

Merseyside

It may be too far for you but I would strongly suggest you contact your local domestic upholsterer or someone that specialises in horse boxes.

I am on the case with a cunning plan to get £500 knocked off any upholstery cost.

Just wondered how much I would be left to stump up.

Regal quoted us around £2100 for three bench seats and two cab seats in leather.

If you replace the carpet will go for something with a bit more pattern in it this time?:scared:

I had mine done a few months ago by a local firm £600 did a great job image.jpgimage.jpg

Regal Furnishings did a fantastic job on our van about 3 years ago and from memory (admittedly poor) it came to about £1500. They did the lot in white leather - 2 captains seats, large L shaped sofa, long side sofa, cushions, travel seat headrests, skirts around front seat bases and panels above front side windows. All done in 1 day. I would highly recommend them.

Gives me a good idea then.

Might get a few examples and put them on here for you lot to judge as I clearly have no style:rolleyes2:

probably cheaper to drive to Morocco and have real leather made up by the craftsmen there????

My seats are faded with the sun and I would just Dye them except I am told on good ?Authority that the Rayon nylon mix cannot be dyed. Anyone know otherwise?
I seems the man-made fabrics are dyed by acid dyes industrially. Dylon doesn't dye the biscuit.

Had my front seats done in leather by Vision Leisure Upholstery of Church Stretton near Shrewsbury.

Very pleased with the work.

what am I thinking?

Best to stick with the classic I have already created....don't think it can be bettered!
