RA?

Not usually, often it's a narrow or a bad road, we stayed on one RA and that flooded most days but bear in mind that the description is usually defined by the person who posted the location so it'll depend on their judgement, it can even be a mistake. Probably best to view it on google maps first and make a judgement yourself if you can.

The presumption with all the POIs is that they are NOT height restricted.

Originally when I created the POI categories the RA acronym did not exist. If, for example, a CR (Car Park Rural) had access difficulties, such as a narrow road in a particular direction, the name was enclosed in square brackets e.g. [CR Timbuktu].

When the POI app was introduced all the restricted access locations became merely RA so the example above would have become RA Timbuktu.

The description still retains the details of the restriction that affects the POI.

Ok. The CR at Counteswells Aberdeen is height barriered by the way. 2m if memory serves.

Looking at Streetview it seems it is. But the height barrier is a fairly recent introduction judging by the old Streetview images.

The POI information relies on being kept up-to-date by our members of course...

Please report the location using the app suggesting its removal.. Thanks :)

Ok and sorry but I have to ask how do I do that please?

Recent? It was there last year as I was going to use it when visiting my old scout troop. It was still there in Feb.

Go to https://wildcamping.co.uk/app.php
In the "TYPE YOUR SEARCH HERE" box, type "Countesswells" and then click on the correct location proposed. Find the CR and click on it. Click on the "Report this location" icon. Insert the reason for the report and click on "REPORT".
