Quit my job - Off to France - Need advice

transport

Don't know if anyone mentioned this. Haven't had time to read all the posts (I'm in work!). If possible take a couple of bikes with you. Everyone cycles in France and it makes great transport if you don't want to drive into town from your camping spot. Some places also get busy in the summer and parking can be a pain at times in some of the towns. Park outside and ride in.
Have a great time. We are off to France in August for three weeks. We however will be staying on sites as my 8 year old insists he 'has to have a pool on his holidays'. Oh well he'll only be a child once!

Rivers, lakes, dams, oceans, seas and reservoirs are far more fun than any overcrowded pool on a camp site. And many of them offer free camping on the banks/shores, try to keep an open mind :cool1:

(back when I was eight I went where I was told, mutter mumble grumble snark...wanders off muttering and slashing his cane...)
