Tilting panels can really help.

I must admit I only get a worthwhile charge from about 11 am to about 2 pm, but it is ok as nothing running apart from the remote control for the internal step and main lighting.

Mine is parked in 100% total shade i am convinced I get more on a cloudy day than under blue skys .I have put my hook-up on a timer 50 mins a day is holding at 95% 2010 ah battery, my sargent system draws about 60 mah when every thing is turned off, 250 mah when turned on, end of march the sun comes back. .

I have a100 w for the last 2 weeks been getting nowt if I fitted another 100 w I would be getting 2 times nowt

Then you need a MPPT solar regulator. I have a 120w panel in the shade until afternoon and making some.
Edit: A bit misleading only supplying half the facts if you are in total shade!
