Do any off you have a clever idea to keep a push on shower on ? I could use a cable tie but would need to cut it off every time.

Wrap a cable tie round the tap then adjust it till it holds the button in.

I sometimes use a cable tie, but with the smooth side. Depending on the pressure of what it's holding, it's often just enough, and can be used again.
