Pub stop peterborough'ish

Hi folks, can anyone recommend a pub stop in Peterborough whist we are en route to Canterbury P&R prior to getting the chunnel to France. As some of you know I can only drive for a couple ish hours in one go so a Sunday night (the 18th) stop would be wonderful

Does it need to be a pub stop or will quiet area do

Not really but they do generally allow one to overnight if you spend a couple of bob in the bar or have a meal,, Sue feels uncomfortable generally in this country as she gets older so really pub stops are a safe (ish) option

Ferry Meadows CAMH site? Backs onto Thorpe Wood [or did in 1983-1987 when I lived in Castor], and accessible rom the A1 south about 7 miles away

We also use north witham as a stopover, it is an excellent safe stopover, if you stopover on a saturday night they even do a breakfast at the village hall.

Aye, we had the breakfast too, which was a first for us stopping over on a Saturday, this was a bonus and a hearty cooked brekkie it was for a fiver each.

I'm looking for somewhere in that area too and the Facebook group "UK pub stopover REVIEWS for motorhomes & campervans" has a few. I like the look of:
