It is very hard to stop spammers as if I increase security to far I get complaints from new members.
I could set the site so that you cannot send PM's until you have made ten posts, but the spammers would just post ten times. This would leave the new members with no Private messaging.
I think the best thing to do would be to delete PM if you do not know who its from, and if anyone on the forums is going to PM another member let them know in the post, (ie i will PM you Lenny.)
