Hi folks, it's me again. We are now on a campsite at Breteuil for a few days, but our hook up cable has blown / tripped all the parks leccy. So I've shortened it, reinstalled the plugs but to no avail, so does anyone know where I can get a replacement between here and Verneuil d' Avre et d' Iton ?

Are you sure its the cable, did you test with a meter, if at fault keep the plugs and use any bit of h duty cable for now.
Ps make sure the polarity is correct on the site, some are not and dangerous, hence i fitted a change over switch before the vans trip/fuse box.

I assume that that's Breteuil in the Eure, not Breteuil in the Oise?
Can the campsite personnel not advise you?

Most cable faults are at the Plug or the socket. If you have removed and reconnected both it is unlikely to be cable fault.
It could be a fault in the MoHo
If the fault is the cable it will trip the post when the cable is plugged in to the post but not plugged into the MoHo.
It is worth checking before mending with a new cable.

If you have a test meter it is easy (and 100% safe) to identify cable faults by testing resistance.
To check the MoHo borrow a cable and if things still trip the fault is with the van.

If you're sure that it's the cable at fault (follow the suggestions from @r4dent first), you could consider ordering from amazon.fr for delivery either to the campsite or (if possible for this product) to an Amazon locker. The advantage of delivery to a locker is that if you were unfortunate enough for the delivery to take longer than expected, after a few days the product would be returned and your account would be refunded (though I guess that this might be in the form of a credit to your account on amazon.fr). However, there are size limits on deliveries to lockers; not sure whether one of these cables would fall within the limits.
