Portugal going Amber

These holidays will now have to be cancelled as you can only travel to Amber countries for "essential reasons".

Whilst the government "strongly discourage" travel to amber list countries there are no laws stopping you going if you wish. I'm not sure what this means for those who have booked and wish to get a refund, or how insurance might be affected, but for those who are not worried about having to self isolate on return it's no problem.
p.s. From what I can see the latest infection rates in Portugal is similar to UK, and definitely a lot lower than we have locally, saying that I'm not interested in getting on a plane any time soon.

Our Daughter was due to go to Portugal on a Hen party. I presume if they rebook it the wedding will have taken place. So it will just be a jolly instead. :LOL:
