Can anyone recommend a portable lightweight, but stable table? No more than 70cms long and tall enough to eat at/work at. Looked on Amazon but they all look too flimsy. Thanks

Do you have a local Go Outdoors that you can visit?

They have a good selection, and probably best you try before you buy.

We have a higear elite double table from go outdoors which is stable and folds down quite small. They do a single version that is 70 cm square.

Bought one three weeks ago at Aldi £17 nice lightweight ,folds in half ,and comes with carry bag

paid £20 at the peterborough show for one of the grey resin type table nice and light folds pretty flat clips on wardrobe wall it's the cross leg type has six height levels and right width to go across the van for two to eat on opposite sides,

I have a few of the "Lifetime" tables from Costco which while not the cheapest, are rock solid and superb quality.
The last one I bought was this one ...
Lifetime Recreational Table with 2 Benches | Costco UK -

Bit bigger then you are looking for I guess, but has two benches as well

And all packs away in one unit

Thanks everyone, got one now, surprisingly from B & M Bargains. Sturdy and the right size for £12.99.
