I couldn't understand the guy talking about monuments? In different countries? But I don't blame the council, especially where long lines are parked up, to the exclusion of anyone else. We went to Morcombe and saw a long line of vans, so we didn't stay. And there were tables and chairs out. I think that we can be our own worst enemy, too many vans give the wrong impression. No it is not illegal park a legal van at the side of any road without restrictions, but when we went to New Brighton a few years ago, it was like an encampment. The council will probably provide parking for motorhomes, but in much less quantity than what is used now.
