I'm looking at touring Ireland. Does anyone know if I can download POI's from the likes of motorhomewild/googlemaps onto my Garmin Nuvi? Great looking sites when I have internet access but that's not always available! (Hope I'm posting in the right forum :-/) Thanks

Yes ! Join Motorhome craic and get the map with the aires and parking places on it. worth the £12. Download the POIs and you are off.

Many thanks for all your help with this - much appreciated. Can't think why Wildcamping itself doesn't include this part of the world as it does such a fantastic job of the UK and a chunk of Europe. Anyway, now all I have to do is to work out how to bump into summer !

All depends where you fancy, north or south,im well versed on n/ireland and donegal to which there is a lot to see, round malahide /drocheda is good to as plenty like battle of the boyne site and newgrange plus lots of old medieval churches etc.
There are lots of wild places to camp up north plus a few c/sites.
