Just purchased a Garmin Camper and as my old satnav was a TomTom I just need to convert the OV2 files for the Garmin and I'm just wondering if anyone has used this POI conversion tool Convert GPI, CSV, GPX, OV2, KML, DB3, etc.

If it's okay or if anyone has a different solution I would be glad to hear your views before I go ahead. I'm sure I'm not the first to change camp because I wasn't getting on with the new GO6000, gave up trying to load POI's and now bought the Garmin 760LMT-D.

I have used that converter, it is simple to use and it doesn't alter your original files so you still have them to try again

You're right Tezza, I've just converted four OV2 files to CSV files and then the Garmin POI loader imported them in less than 3 seconds onto my Garmin - amazing, that is impressive.

All the Wild Camping POIs are provided in Garmin format so no conversion is necessary :D

Talbot was converting POI's from another source, not all suppliers of POI's come in as many formats as ours and if you originally 'pay' for POI's from somewhere like Camperstop for instance you have to state which format and then you buy a different satnav they want you to pay again, €3 per Country so it shows how good our WC POI's are:dance:

Ditto on all accounts. Thanks Tezza and Phil
