Plug in toilet broken

I couldnt find my plug so tried to use tissue, however when I pushed the tissue into the plug holes the plug hole came away from the basin, how can I fix this? Also can anyone give me some guidence on how to stop your water from freezing in the winter as I still intend using my van in all weathers. Your help is appreciated.

Have you checked under the basin? There is a Hexagon/round large nut that holds the pipe to the sink. It could have split and came away from the pressure when inserting the tissue into the plug hole.
