PLG or PHGV ? Help!

I bet you will find it difficult to run that van under 3500kg, as I've said before they are built like brick outhouses, good for longevity, bad for load capacity.

Yes, the one with my GP, around £70.00 .

Thats what I though I've paid 78£ for my last medical it was a bit of a shock as my employer paid for the others. It only took 15mins so cheaper to take the car for its MOT

Yes I agree, I think the engine and gear train weigh about 3500kg on their own ...:lol-061:

I was commenting on typical European vans, I should have noticed this wasn't:eek:

If officialdom thinks it is 3500kgs and there is no tax disc available but the plate says 3860 or whatever, then that is what VOSA and the police look at the plate to decide the weighing details not the V5 . I might keep quiet and pay the tax but use the weight pleading stupidity and ignorance, dementia or what ever might be best at the time, +10% of 3500 is 3850 so nothing really bad (less that 2 years inside) would happen. I might have to resort to that subterfuge myself, if I cannot get a lighter van later.
I DENY THAT I HAVE SAID ANY OF THE ABOVE STATEMENT, buuuttt! it might be useful.

Is this site full of crooks and anarchists?????
