Whilst trying to tuck the mattress cover in from the outside (believe me it's easier) I got a nice crack on the head because the window latch broke.
It is a plastifix type, the side one that the stay attaches to, except it's that bit that's now broken.

2 things I need help with here, apart from the sore head.

  1. How do you remove the old one?
  2. Where can I get a replacement catch only?

Looking forward to all that lovely advice, thanks.

hi, don"t know how to remove it, but O"learys in the east riding or yorks may well be able to help you.

Thanks guys. I don't think it's a screw-0n. Can't see how it's fixed, maybe you have to take the window apart?:scared:

Anyway, have bodged it with some Epoxy Resin & black tape, doens't look too bad.

Hi Sharon,
When you lift the catch/lever you'll see a small hole facing the catch in the locked position. You push a pin or something that size in the hole to push in a tab and slide the catch off. If you find a replacement it just slides and clicks on.

Thanks Pat. Should have asked you in the first place!
