Places to stop overnight

As keen bridge players, at some point on our trips, both in the here and abroad, we try to find a bridge club to play at for an evening. Often these are in Community Centres, and at the end of the evening we check if we can stay in the car park overnight. We have yet to be turned away. Does anyone else do this, or similar ?

We have stopped at similar places. Always ask before hand, never assume that you can. We have stopped overnight at hotels and halls after friends wedding receptions, if it is important to stop a phone call a few days in advance helps

Hi - we aways check beforehand (as well in the evening ) when we ask if visitors are welcome at the bridge night - been doing this for 11 years - no refusals - bridge players are very nice people
