Sorry to disagree but I think in the example above that's one word i.e. "abaht £1000 . Whereas baht is indeed a word as in "on Ikley moor baht at", or is that "bah tat", or maybe "bahtat"....Not only The Thai currency..
A Baht is also used in Yorkshire quotes and estimates.
As in, " It'll be a baht £1000 ".
