Pet Passport Help

said I needed to have an EU address. Just the French being French perhaps.
In France, it's technically not the passport that's the problem but they have a rule that to get one, the dog should first be registered on the microchip database and that's what needs the address etc. The end result is the same though, it's hard to get a passport in France.
had a mate jumped bail (nothing serious just getting even for a wrong) and went to America to live. On returning to visit his folks he flew into Ireland then a ferry to Scotland then back home, so I don't think having a pet would be a bigger issue.
Did anyone see that TV programme a few years ago when legitimate holders of UK (people) passports tried to get back into the uk from Europe without using them? One woman hid in a cupboard in their motorhome, a guy came in with a passport that belonged to his slightly similar looking friend, someone sailed in on a private boat, a couple of girls came into the ROI then drove over into NI and got on a ferry to the mainland. The only person that didn't make it was someone trying to kayak across the channel and it was the weather rather than the authorities that forced him to turn back.

An old man is at passport control in Paris

He is going through his bag for his passport. The woman on passport control asks him 'Have you visited France before?'
'Yes' replied the old man.
Sarcastically she responds 'Well surely you should know to have your passport ready...' to which he answers 'I didn't have to show it last time'
'Impossible!!' she bellowed.
The old man looks her straight in the eye and says 'Last time, when I landed on D Day in 1944, I couldn't find a bucking Frenchman to give it to'
